Who: York University Observatory
What: The public viewing program at the York Observatory runs all year round. On public viewing nights, visitors are able to observe selected celestial objects in the presence of friendly staff, in addition to engaging in various on-hand presentations. The observatory is open regardless of weather conditions, even though viewing through the telescope is limited to clear skies. If it is cloudy, slide shows, planetarium show and telescope tours are available.
When: Free Sept-Oct 8-10pm, November-February 6:30-8:30pm, March-April 8-10pm, May-August 9-11pm.
